Job Description

*Responsibilities:

-To design, document and implement data solutions for various type/size systems, and fully aware the integration, maintenance and migration aspects.
-To be the escalation point for database issues in project.
-To ensure compliance with architecture design.
-Contribute ideas/solution on system architecture.
-To set guidelines, review architecture alternatives, and perform technical evaluations.
-To spend time as a database technical architect in projects directly and on daily basis.
-To communicate project technical issues and progress with clients.
-To help Clients in technical support.
-To participate in pre-sales support and company-wide activities (R&D, Training).
-To self-train on new technologies.

*Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience in data modeling, data migration, performance optimization, T-SQL, stored procedures, data pipeline solution
-Good at English speaking/writing skills; can confidently discuss with clients about -technical approaches or issues in detail;
-Hands-on development experience with at least 2 related databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL
-Experience in designing and implementing data solutions that well takes care of database performance, data security and high availability.
-Experience with at least 1 Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tool and 1 Business Intelligence (BI) tool.
-Skillful in performance tuning in both operational database and data warehouse
-Fully aware and address performance/security related requirements seriously when proposing/designing data solutions.
-Experience with Cloud based technologies such as MS Azure, AWS
-Good knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Deployment (CD) for Database changes
-Knowledge of NoSQL technologies: MongoDB, Cassandra, Graph Database is a plus.
